Dunedin Consort will perform at Wigmore Hall, London on December 23, 2026. The ensemble is recognised for its historically informed performance practice, specialising in Baroque and Classical repertoire. Founded in 1995 by John Butt, the Consort has developed a strong reputation for insightful and vibrant performances of composers such as Bach, Handel, and Mozart. They are particularly known for their complete J.S. Bach cantata cycle recordings.

Wigmore Hall holds a significant place within London’s cultural landscape. Opened in 1901, it was originally built as a private concert hall for the Bechstein piano company and quickly became renowned for its exceptional acoustics. Unlike many larger venues, Wigmore Hall maintains a relatively intimate setting with a capacity of around 544 seats, fostering a close connection between performers and audience.
