Originally constructed in 1904 as a vaudeville house known as The Broadway Theatre, it underwent periods of various uses including a cinema and a roller skating rink before being renovated and re-established as a live music venue in the early 2000s.

The space retains architectural details reflective of its early 20th-century origins while offering modern sound and lighting capabilities. It is known for its relatively intimate capacity – approximately 500 standing or 350 seated – fostering close interaction between performers and audiences.
