The Dresden Philharmonic will perform at Congress Centrum: Kuppelsaal in Hanover, Germany on April 8, 2027. The orchestra is renowned for its rich, German Romantic tradition, frequently performing works by composers such as Richard Strauss, Robert Schumann, and Johannes Brahms, alongside a broad repertoire spanning Baroque to contemporary music. Congress Centrum: Kuppelsaal is a significant concert and convention venue in Hanover. Originally constructed between 1974 and 1976 based on designs by architect Peter Pfister, the Kuppelsaal – meaning “dome hall” – is distinguished by its unique architectural feature: a large, geometrically complex concrete dome. This dome contributes significantly to the hall’s acoustics, which are considered excellent for orchestral performances. It underwent extensive renovation and modernization between 2018-2021 to update technical infrastructure while preserving its original architectural character. The venue regularly hosts classical music concerts, conferences and other large-scale events. It's considered one of Hanover's most important cultural landmarks.
