DRAIN is scheduled to perform at Summerfest, held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on September 18, 2026. The band originates from Chicago, Illinois and plays a style generally categorized as melodic hardcore, drawing influence from 90s emo and post-hardcore acts. Their sound incorporates elements of both aggressive instrumentation and emotionally resonant vocals, often exploring themes of anxiety, disillusionment, and personal struggle. DRAIN gained prominence through independent releases and touring before signing with Epitaph Records in 2023.

Summerfest, presented by American Family Insurance, is an annual music festival held at Henry Maier Festival Park on the shores of Lake Michigan. Established in 1968, it is one of the world’s largest music festivals in terms of attendance.
