DRAIN is scheduled to perform at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington on September 28, 2026. The band performs a style often categorized as melodic hardcore, drawing influence from 90s emo, post-hardcore, and skate punk. Their sound features dynamic shifts between aggressive instrumentation and emotionally resonant vocal melodies, with lyrical themes frequently exploring personal struggles and introspection. DRAIN gained prominence through independent releases and extensive touring, building a dedicated following within the underground music scene before signing with a major label.

Climate Pledge Arena is a relatively new multi-purpose arena, having opened in October 2021 following a significant renovation of the former KeyArena. The project aimed to create a sustainable venue; it was the first arena in the world to achieve Living Building Pilot certification. Constructed with reduced carbon emissions and powered by renewable energy, the arena features a fully electric system and rainwater harvesting capabilities. It currently serves as the home for the Seattle Kraken of the National Hockey League and the Seattle Storm of the Women's National Basketball Association, alongside hosting concerts and other large-scale events. The arena’s capacity for concerts is approximately 18,100.
