Jazz Concerts in Baltimore

Experience Django Festival Allstars live on August 7th

Django Festival Allstars are scheduled to perform at Keystone Korner in Baltimore, Maryland on August 7, 2026. The ensemble specializes in the vibrant tradition of Gypsy jazz, also known as *jazz manouche*, originating from the work of guitarist Django Reinhardt. Their music is characterized by virtuosic guitar playing, driving rhythms, and a generally upbeat, improvisational style drawing heavily on swing jazz, French musette waltzes, and Romani influences. The group features leading musicians dedicated to preserving and expanding upon Reinhardt’s legacy.

Keystone Korner originally operated as a renowned jazz club in San Francisco from 1965 to 1987, hosting many iconic jazz artists including Miles Davis, Bill Evans and Art Blakey. It was known for its intimate setting and high-quality sound. In 2018, the Keystone Korner name was revived as a performance space in Baltimore by Ruth Price Rubinstein, daughter of the original club's founder Ed Rubinstein. The Baltimore location aims to recreate the atmosphere and artistic focus of the original Keystone Korner, presenting both established and emerging jazz talent. The venue emphasizes acoustic performance and a listening room experience.
