Deradoorian, the musical project of Emily Lee, will perform at The Chapel in San Francisco on August 9, 2026. Deradoorian’s music blends elements of psychedelic pop, art rock, and experimental electronic music, often featuring layered vocals and intricate instrumentation. Her work is characterized by a dreamlike quality and exploration of themes relating to identity and introspection. Lee previously gained recognition as a member of the band Dirty Projectors before establishing her solo career with the release of her debut album *Lemuria* in 2015. She has since released several critically acclaimed albums including *Eternal Yarn* (2019) and *Source* (2024).

The Chapel is a historic venue located in the Mission District of San Francisco. Originally constructed in 1914 as a mortuary chapel for the Valente Family, it operated as such until the mid-1990s. It was subsequently renovated and reopened as a performance space in 1998, becoming known for its unique atmosphere and diverse programming. The building retains much of its original architectural detail, including stained glass windows and ornate ceilings, creating an intimate concert experience.
