Classical Concerts in Bonn

Experience Daniel Hope live on December 17th

Daniel Hope will perform at the Kleine Beethovenhalle in Bonn, Germany on December 17, 2026. Hope is a South African-born British violinist known for his versatile repertoire spanning classical, crossover, and contemporary works. His performances frequently incorporate elements of jazz and popular music alongside traditional classical pieces, often showcasing his own arrangements and compositions. He is recognized for his engaging stage presence and commitment to making classical music accessible to wider audiences.

The Kleine Beethovenhalle holds a significant place in Bonn’s musical heritage. Originally constructed in 1906, it was designed by architect Wilhelm Riphahn and served as a primary concert venue for the Beethoven Orchestra Bonn for many decades. Though smaller than the main Beethovenhalle (now the Stadthalle), the Kleine Beethovenhalle offers an intimate setting renowned for its excellent acoustics. It underwent extensive renovations completed in 2023, restoring many of its original Art Nouveau features while modernizing facilities. The hall has hosted numerous prominent musicians throughout its history and continues to be a vital cultural hub within the city, particularly focused on chamber music and recitals. It is located within the Bundeshaus complex, historically a parliamentary building.
