In the 1990s, McMenamins Brewing acquired the property and undertook extensive renovations, transforming it into a hotel, brewery, concert venue, and event space while intentionally preserving many of its original architectural features and historical elements.

The Lodge is known for its unique atmosphere blending historical preservation with artistic additions like murals and themed rooms. Its grounds include gardens, soaking pools, and walking paths.
