corto.alto is a German post-punk/noise rock duo comprised of members Julia Fischer and Eva Governo. Their music is characterized by driving basslines, minimalist arrangements, and distinctive vocal harmonies, often incorporating elements of spoken word and experimental soundscapes. Formed in 2016, they’ve released several critically acclaimed albums including “Plastic Moon” (2018) and “Rooms & Doors” (2023), gaining recognition for their intense live performances and unique sonic aesthetic.
Locomotiv Club in Bologna, Italy, is a long-standing venue with a significant history within the city's independent music scene. Originally established in 1997 from the renovation of a former railway depot – hence the name “Locomotiv” – it quickly became a focal point for alternative and underground musical acts. The club hosts a diverse range of genres including rock, punk, electronic, and experimental music.
