Spooner Park is a 22-acre community park located within the city of Little Canada. Established in 1978, it’s named after local resident and long-time parks advocate, George Spooner. The park offers a variety of recreational facilities including walking trails, picnic areas, a playground, and open green space. It serves as a central gathering place for community events throughout the year and is known for its mature trees and relatively natural setting within the suburban landscape. The park underwent significant renovations in 2018 which included improvements to the playground and trail systems. It’s situated near the intersection of County Road C and Rice Street offering accessibility to residents of Little Canada and surrounding areas.
