The Queen Elizabeth Hall, part of the Southbank Centre complex, opened in 1967. Designed by Hubert Bennett and Leslie Martin, it is a significant example of Brutalist architecture. It underwent a substantial refurbishment completed in 2018 which aimed to improve acoustics and accessibility while respecting the building's original character.
