The Columbus Metropolitan Library (Main) building, located in downtown Columbus, Ohio, opened in 2015. Designed by NBBJ, the building is a significant architectural landmark featuring a modern design emphasizing natural light and community spaces. It replaced the previous Main Library building which served Columbus for over 70 years. The current facility offers a wide range of resources including books, media, technology access, program rooms, and dedicated areas for children and teens. It functions as the central hub for the Columbus Metropolitan Library system’s 23 branches and serves as a vital cultural and educational resource for the city's residents.
