Cochemea Gastambide is a French multi-instrumentalist, composer, and bandleader known for his work blending jazz, funk, Afrobeat, and electronic music. His sound often incorporates vintage synthesizers and a strong emphasis on rhythmic complexity, drawing comparisons to artists like Herbie Hancock and Mulatu Astatke. He has released several albums including “Altitude” (2017) and “No Flash, No Blood” (2023), earning recognition for his innovative arrangements and energetic live performances.
Saint James The Great is a Church of England parish church located in Piccadilly, central London. Originally built in 1672-74 by Sir Christopher Wren as part of the rebuilding of London after the Great Fire, it represents an early example of Wren’s mature architectural style. While initially considered one of Wren’s less successful churches due to its relatively small size and somewhat obscured location, it underwent significant restoration in the 19th century led by J.T. Pennethorne.
The church features a distinctive interior with a barrel-vaulted ceiling and notable stained glass windows.
