Club d'Elf is scheduled to perform at Off Cabot Comedy in Beverly, Massachusetts on September 26, 2026. The group is known for its unique blend of musical styles, primarily described as psychedelic jazz and Moroccan-influenced electronica. Formed in 1994 by keyboardist Mike Dillon and bassist Brötzmann, Club d'Elf evolved from late-night jam sessions at the Lizard Lounge in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Their music often features extended improvisations, complex rhythms, and incorporates elements of Gnawa music – a tradition originating from West Africa – alongside jazz harmonies and electronic textures. The band’s lineup has remained fluid over the years, consistently attracting talented musicians from the Boston area and beyond.

Off Cabot Comedy is a relatively new venue located within the historic Cabot Street Theatre building in Beverly. While primarily a comedy club hosting both established and emerging comedians, it also regularly presents live music performances across various genres. The space aims to provide an intimate setting for entertainment, differing from the larger capacity main hall of the Cabot Performing Arts Center which shares the same building. It opened in late 2023 following renovations within the theatre complex.
