LSO St Luke’s is a Grade I listed former church located in Islington, London. Originally built in the 1860s, it served as a parish church until 1995. Subsequently, the London Symphony Orchestra undertook a comprehensive restoration project transforming the space into a dedicated concert hall and rehearsal space. The hall is renowned for its exceptional acoustics and intimate atmosphere – significantly different from the larger Barbican Centre, the LSO’s primary home. Its design retains many original architectural features while accommodating modern performance requirements.
