Fitzgerald’s Nightclub has been a prominent fixture in the Chicago-area music scene since 1980. Originally established as a neighborhood tavern in 1940, it transitioned into a dedicated music venue under the ownership of Carl Huebner. The club quickly gained recognition for showcasing both established national acts and emerging local talent, particularly within jazz, blues, and roots music. It's known for its intimate setting and excellent acoustics which have made it a favorite among musicians and audiences alike. Fitzgerald’s underwent a relocation to Berwyn in 2003 following a fire at its original location but continues to maintain its commitment to live music performance.
