He's known for projects like Ches Smith Trio, We All Break, and collaborations with artists such as Vijay Iyer and Craig Taborn.
palác Akropolis itself holds a significant place in Prague’s cultural landscape. Originally built in 1951 as a functionalist cinema under the communist regime, it was renamed Akropolis in 1990 following the Velvet Revolution. Beyond film screenings, the venue quickly became a multidisciplinary arts center hosting concerts, theatre performances, exhibitions and social events. The building maintains its original architectural features while functioning as an independent cultural institution focused on alternative and experimental art forms. It is known for its intimate atmosphere and commitment to supporting both established and emerging artists across various disciplines.
