Buckethead is scheduled to perform at The Guild Theatre in Menlo Park, California on June 24, 2026. Buckethead, the stage name of Brian Patrick Carroll, is a largely anonymous guitarist known for his highly technical and eclectic instrumental music. His style blends elements of heavy metal, progressive rock, funk, blues, avant-garde, and experimental music, often incorporating tapping techniques and utilizing a distinctive painted white mask and KFC bucket hat as part of his stage persona. He has released over 30 studio albums showcasing diverse concepts and musical approaches.

The Guild Theatre originally opened in 1926 as a movie palace during the silent film era. Designed in Spanish Colonial Revival style by Reid & Reid architects, it quickly became a prominent entertainment venue for the Peninsula community. After decades of operation showing films and hosting live performances, the theatre faced closure in 2007. Following a significant restoration project led by the Peninsula Arts Council, The Guild Theatre reopened in November 2023 with an updated sound and lighting system while retaining its historical architectural features. It now functions as a multi-purpose venue hosting concerts, film screenings and community events.
