The Warner Theatre in Washington, D.C., originally opened as the Earle Theatre in 1924. Designed by architect C. Howard Crane, it was a significant venue during the era of vaudeville and hosted performances by prominent entertainers including Judy Garland and Ella Fitzgerald. Later renamed the Warner Theatre in 1985 following extensive renovations, it transitioned to primarily hosting Broadway shows, concerts, and other large-scale performances.
The theatre is recognized for its ornate Beaux-Arts architecture featuring detailed plasterwork and a grand lobby. It underwent further restoration in 2010-2011, enhancing its acoustics and preserving its historical features.
