Japanese experimental rock band Boris will perform at Voxhall in Aarhus, Denmark on November 10, 2026. The group is known for a highly diverse sound, defying easy categorization, but generally described as encompassing elements of drone, doom metal, shoegaze, psychedelic rock, and noise. Formed in 1992, Boris has released over thirty studio albums, consistently evolving their approach while maintaining a core aesthetic of heavy, atmospheric soundscapes. Their performances are often characterized by extended instrumental passages and significant dynamic range.

Voxhall is a concert venue located in the Frederiksbjerg district of Aarhus. Originally established in 1992 as a squat and alternative cultural space known as Dynamo, it underwent several transformations before officially becoming Voxhall in 2008 following extensive renovations. The venue is housed within an old factory building and maintains an industrial aesthetic. It features two primary stages – the main hall with a capacity of approximately 800 people and a smaller ‘Ridehuset’ space suitable for more intimate performances and events. Voxhall hosts a wide range of musical genres including rock, electronic music and jazz, alongside other cultural events like art exhibitions and debates.
