Boris, a Japanese experimental rock band formed in 1992, will perform at Orto Bar in Ljubljana, Slovenia on October 6th, 2026. Orto Bar is a longstanding independent cultural venue located in Metelkova Mesto, an autonomous cultural zone in Ljubljana. Established in the early 1990s alongside the formation of Metelkova itself, Orto Bar developed from occupied military buildings and has become known for its support of alternative music genres including punk, hardcore, metal and experimental sounds. It maintains a deliberately raw aesthetic and operates as a non-profit organization focused on fostering artistic expression and community engagement. The bar’s name translates to “garden” in Slovenian and reflects its outdoor space which is frequently used for performances and gatherings.
