Boris, a Japanese experimental rock band formed in 1992, will perform at Kulttuuritalo in Helsinki, Finland on November 4, 2026. The group is known for its diverse musical style, encompassing elements of drone, doom metal, shoegaze, and psychedelic rock. Throughout their career, Boris has explored varying sonic textures and approaches, ranging from minimalist ambient works to heavily distorted and aggressive compositions; often categorised as exploring extremes within rock music. They frequently utilize extended instrumental passages and dynamic shifts in volume and tempo.

Kulttuuritalo (Culture House) is a prominent multi-purpose venue in Helsinki, completed in 1970. Designed by architect Alvar Aalto alongside his office, it serves as a significant example of Finnish functionalist architecture. Originally built as the headquarters for the Finnish Trade Union Federation (SAK), it quickly became a central hub for cultural events. The building houses a large concert hall with a capacity of approximately 1,850 people, alongside smaller meeting rooms and office spaces.
