Japanese experimental rock band Boris will perform at Bahnhof Pauli in Hamburg, Germany on November 11, 2026. The group is known for a highly diverse sound encompassing elements of doom metal, drone, shoegaze, psychedelic rock, and noise. Formed in 1992, Boris deliberately avoids easy categorization, frequently shifting between intensely heavy and surprisingly melodic passages within single compositions and across albums. Their discography includes lengthy, monolithic tracks as well as shorter, more conventionally structured songs.

Bahnhof Pauli is a former railway station building repurposed as a concert venue and cultural center in the St. Pauli district of Hamburg. Originally opened in 1872 as part of the Hamburg suburban railway network, it ceased operation as a transport hub in 2001. The building was subsequently renovated and reopened as a venue in 2004. It’s recognized for its intimate atmosphere and its commitment to hosting alternative and independent music acts across various genres. The venue's architecture retains much of its original railway station character including platform-like stages and industrial aesthetics. It has become a significant location within Hamburg’s independent music scene.
