Bonobo, the project led by British musician Simon Green, will perform at The Fillmore Silver Spring in Washington, D.C. on December 3, 2026. Green’s music is generally described as downtempo electronic, frequently incorporating elements of jazz, trip-hop, and world music. His compositions are known for their intricate layering of organic instrumentation – often featuring live strings, horns, and percussion – with electronic beats and textures. Bonobo has released several critically acclaimed albums including *Black Sands* (2010) and *Migration* (2017), establishing a reputation for immersive and atmospheric live performances.

The Fillmore Silver Spring opened in 2011 as part of a revitalization effort in downtown Silver Spring, Maryland. It is operated by Live Nation and functions as a mid-sized concert venue with a capacity of approximately 2,000 attendees. The venue is modeled after the historic Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco, aiming to recreate a similar intimate concert experience while offering modern amenities. It regularly hosts nationally and internationally touring artists across various genres including rock, pop, electronic and hip-hop.
