Simon Green, known professionally as Bonobo, is scheduled to perform at First Avenue in Minneapolis, Minnesota on November 24, 2026. Bonobo’s music is generally described as downtempo electronic, often incorporating elements of jazz, trip-hop, and world music. His productions frequently feature live instrumentation alongside electronic beats and textures, creating layered and atmospheric soundscapes. He has released several critically acclaimed albums including *Black Sands* (2010) and *Migration* (2017).

First Avenue is a historic music venue located in the North Loop neighborhood of Minneapolis. Originally opened as a skating rink in 1970, it transitioned into a music club in 1978 and quickly became central to the burgeoning Twin Cities music scene. The venue gained international recognition as the primary filming location for Prince’s 1984 film *Purple Rain*, cementing its place in music history.
