The Fickle Pickle Club is a long-standing independent music venue located in Southend-on-Sea, Essex. Established in 1993, it has become a key fixture in the local cultural landscape and a notable stop for touring alternative and underground acts. The venue is known for its intimate capacity – approximately 120 people – creating a close connection between performers and audience members. Historically, The Fickle Pickle has championed diverse genres including punk, indie, experimental rock, and electronic music; consistently providing a platform for emerging artists alongside more established names. The building itself is a converted Victorian terraced house maintaining much of its original character.
