Biréli Lagrène is a French jazz guitarist renowned for his virtuosity and stylistic range. Initially gaining prominence as a Django Reinhardt-inspired gypsy jazz musician in the 1980s, he later broadened his repertoire to encompass mainstream jazz, Latin jazz, and even rock fusion. His playing is characterized by rapid, fluid lines, harmonic sophistication, and a distinctive tone. Lagrène frequently performs solo, in trio formations, and with larger ensembles.

The Kurhaus Bad Aibling is a historically significant venue located in the Bavarian town of Bad Aibling, Germany. Originally constructed in 1914 as a spa and cultural center, it served various purposes throughout the 20th century, including periods as a military hospital and a displaced persons camp after World War II.
