Big Brave will be performing at Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, New York on August 8, 2026. The band is a Canadian post-metal group known for their intensely dynamic and often lengthy compositions. Their sound blends elements of doom metal, free jazz improvisation, and drone music, characterized by heavy, repetitive riffs, powerful drumming, and the distinctive vocal delivery of vocalist Robin Wattie. They frequently employ extended instrumental passages and build tension through gradual sonic layering.

Music Hall of Williamsburg opened in 2009 and has become a prominent venue for independent and emerging artists in the New York City music scene. Situated in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn, it's recognized for its relatively intimate capacity – holding approximately 550 people – which fosters close connections between performers and audiences. The venue is owned by Bowery Presents, a major concert promotion and venue operation company. It’s noted for hosting a diverse range of genres including indie rock, electronic music, hip-hop, and experimental acts. The building itself was originally constructed as a warehouse in the early 20th century before being repurposed as a performance space.
