Benji B is a British DJ and radio presenter known for his eclectic musical selections, spanning genres including hip-hop, electronic, soul, funk, and jazz. He’s particularly recognised for his work with BBC Radio 1Xtra, where he hosted a long-running show showcasing emerging and established artists across these soundscapes. His sets frequently incorporate rare grooves, exclusive tracks, and a focus on innovative music production.

The concert is scheduled to take place at the Crystal Palace Bowl, an outdoor performance venue situated within Crystal Palace Park in South London. Originally constructed in 1961 as a replacement for the earlier Crystal Palace Concert Hall destroyed by fire in 1936, the Bowl has a significant history of hosting major musical performances. It initially served as a venue for classical concerts and opera but quickly expanded to accommodate popular music acts throughout the 1960s and 70s.

The Bowl underwent a substantial £4 million restoration project completed in 2023 after facing structural issues that led to its closure in 2018. The renovated venue maintains its open-air character while incorporating improved accessibility and facilities.
