Beak is a British post-punk and experimental rock band formed in Bristol in 2011. The group, featuring members also involved in other projects like Portishead and Massive Attack, creates music characterized by its repetitive, driving rhythms, sparse instrumentation – often focusing on bass, drums and synthesizers – and atmospheric textures. Their sound frequently evokes a sense of unease or hypnotic intensity, drawing comparisons to acts like Neu! and early industrial music. Beak has released several studio albums including *Beak*> (2012), *Hall>Bask>Lane>* (2015) and *>>>* (2023).
