The concert on June 13th, 2027 will be held at Stadtcasino Basel, a significant cultural landmark in the city. Originally constructed in 1827 based on designs by Johann Jakob Stehlin the Younger, it was initially conceived as a multi-purpose space including a gaming casino – hence the name “Stadtcasino” (City Casino). Over time, the gaming function diminished, and the building evolved primarily into a concert hall and event venue.

Significant renovations have taken place throughout its history, most recently completed in 2011, modernizing facilities while preserving its historical character. The main hall is celebrated for its excellent acoustics and ornate interior, making it a favored location for classical music performances and other prestigious events within Basel. It holds a prominent place in the city’s musical heritage and continues to host a diverse range of artistic presentations.
