The Magyar Zene Háza, inaugurated in January 2022, serves as Hungary's national musical centre. It houses concert halls of varying sizes – including a main hall with exceptional acoustics – exhibition spaces dedicated to Hungarian musical history, educational facilities, and a research library. The venue was conceived as part of the Liget Budapest project, a comprehensive urban renewal initiative transforming Budapest’s City Park. Its construction was partially funded by private donations and government support with the goal of establishing a leading cultural institution for both domestic audiences and international visitors.
