The Middle East Restaurant and Nightclub is a multi-room venue located in Central Square, Cambridge. Originally established as a Lebanese restaurant in 1970 by Fares Nasr, it gradually incorporated live music performance spaces. Over the decades it has become a prominent fixture in the Boston-area music scene, known for hosting both emerging artists and established acts across diverse genres including rock, indie, metal, hip-hop and electronic music.

The venue comprises three distinct performance areas: the main nightclub (often referred to as "The Middle East"), a smaller upstairs room called “Upstairs”, and Sonia which is a more intimate space. It maintains its original function as a restaurant alongside its role as a concert venue. The building itself is noted for its somewhat eclectic and unpolished aesthetic.
