Avi Avital is a highly acclaimed Israeli mandolin virtuoso recognized for expanding the instrument’s repertoire and establishing it as a solo concert instrument within classical music. His performances often blend Baroque, contemporary, and traditional musical styles, frequently commissioning new works and exploring cross-genre collaborations. He is known for his technical precision and expressive interpretations.

The National Music Forum (Narodowe Forum Muzyki) in Wrocław, Poland, serves as the city’s primary concert hall and a significant cultural institution. Opened in 2015, it comprises three interconnected halls: the Grand Hall (Wielka Sala), accommodating approximately 1,088 audience members; the Chamber Hall (Sala Kameralna), with a capacity of around 300; and the Jazz Hall (Sala Jazzowa). The building's architectural design, by Kengo Kuma & Associates, incorporates extensive use of wood and aims to create an acoustically exceptional environment. It replaced the previously used Wrocław Opera building as the main venue for orchestral concerts and other large-scale musical events. The Forum hosts performances by leading Polish and international orchestras, ensembles, and soloists across diverse genres.
