Austra will perform at Tiivistämö in Helsinki, Finland on August 5, 2026. The band, fronted by Katie Stelmanis, creates music often described as darkwave, synth-pop, and art pop. Tiivistämö is a concert venue located in the Suvilahti industrial area of Helsinki. Originally built as a glue factory in the 1930s – “Tiivistämö” translating to “the sealing plant” – the building underwent extensive renovations to transform it into a cultural space. It officially opened as a venue in 2015. The space retains much of its industrial aesthetic with concrete walls and high ceilings while offering a flexible layout suitable for diverse performances. It's known for hosting both established and emerging artists across genres including rock, electronic music, and visual arts events.
