Austra, the Canadian electronic music band led by Katie Stelmanis, is scheduled to perform at Tartu Laululava in Tartu, Estonia on August 6, 2026. Their sound often features atmospheric textures, driving basslines and Stelmanis’ distinctive vocal range. Tartu Laululava is an open-air singing stage located in Tartu, Estonia. Constructed in 1925 for the Estonian Song Festival, it holds significant cultural importance as a symbol of Estonian national identity and choral tradition. The venue can accommodate a large audience – approximately 15,000 spectators – and has hosted numerous large-scale events beyond song festivals including concerts and political gatherings. It was extensively renovated between 2007 and 2009 to improve its facilities while preserving its historical character. The Laululava’s design incorporates elements of neo-classical architecture and is situated within Toome Hill parkland offering a natural amphitheater setting.
