Austra is a Canadian electronic music band formed in 2009, fronted by Katie Stelmanis. Their sound is generally described as darkwave, blending elements of synth-pop, gothic influences, and operatic vocals. Often incorporating themes of mythology, spirituality, and personal struggle, Austra’s music features layered synthesizers, driving percussion, and Stelmanis’ distinctive vocal range. The band has released several critically acclaimed albums including *Feel It All* (2013) and *Hippo* (2020).

Guelph Lake Conservation Area is a 1,727 acre area managed by the Grand River Conservation Authority (GRCA). Established in 1952, it was created through the damming of the Speed River to provide flood control and water conservation for downstream communities. Beyond its functional purpose, Guelph Lake serves as a popular recreational space for activities such as camping, hiking, fishing, boating and picnicking. The conservation area features a reservoir lake surrounded by forested areas and open spaces. It's known for its diverse ecosystem supporting various plant and animal species. The GRCA actively manages the area for both environmental preservation and public use.
