Atom String Quartet is scheduled to perform at Konservi in Seon, Switzerland on November 27, 2026. Konservi is a cultural center housed within a former canning factory (hence the name – “Konserve” being German for “canned goods”). Originally established as a cooperative in 1934, the building served as a fruit and vegetable processing facility until its closure in the 1980s. It was subsequently repurposed and opened as a venue for concerts, exhibitions, workshops, and other cultural events in 2006. The space retains much of its industrial character, offering a unique atmosphere for performances. Konservi regularly hosts a diverse program encompassing various musical genres including jazz, world music, and contemporary classical styles; it’s known for supporting both established artists and emerging talent.
