Anouar Brahem, a Tunisian oud player and composer, will perform at the Slovak Radio Concert Hall in Bratislava on July 15, 2026. Brahem’s music is characterized by a distinctive blend of Arabic traditional music with elements of jazz and classical music. His compositions often feature lyrical melodies played on the oud, interwoven with instrumentation from diverse musical traditions – frequently including instruments like the ney (Arabic flute), percussion, and string ensembles. The Slovak Radio Concert Hall (Koncertný štúdio Slovenského rozhlasu) opened in 1981 and is considered one of Bratislava’s premier concert venues.
