His work frequently draws inspiration from historical themes, particularly British folklore and landscape, and has been featured in documentaries and film soundtracks. He releases music primarily through his own label, Graphite Records.

Dewsbury Town Hall is a Victorian-era public building located in the town centre of Dewsbury, West Yorkshire. Completed in 1879, it was designed by local architects James Mallinson and Son and built using local stone. The building served as the headquarters of Dewsbury Borough Council until local government reorganisation in 1974. It’s noted for its ornate Italianate style architecture featuring a prominent clock tower and detailed stonework.

The Town Hall contains a concert hall which has hosted numerous musical performances over the years, becoming a significant cultural venue for the region. It underwent extensive renovations completed in 2018 to restore many of its original features while modernising facilities.
