Columbus Commons is a 6-acre urban park located in downtown Columbus, Ohio. Developed on the site of the former City Center Mall, it opened in 2011 as a public-private partnership between the City of Columbus and the Columbus Downtown Development Corporation. The park features a performance stage—the Bicentennial Pavilion—a large lawn area utilized for events like concerts and festivals, walking paths, gardens, and a carousel. It serves as a central gathering space for residents and visitors alike and hosts numerous free events throughout the year. The park’s design intentionally incorporates green space to enhance the downtown environment and provide recreational opportunities. It's situated near the Ohio Theatre and other cultural attractions.
