The O2 Ritz is a historic music venue located on Whitworth Street West in Manchester city centre. Originally opening as the Grafton Rooms in 1928 as a cinema and dance hall, it underwent several name changes – becoming the Carlton Club then the Hacienda (a famed nightclub central to the Madchester scene from 1982-1997) – before being rebranded as the O2 Ritz in 2008 following extensive refurbishment.

The venue maintains many of its original Art Deco features and is known for its intimate atmosphere and sprung dance floor. It regularly hosts a diverse range of musical acts, spanning various genres including rock, indie, electronic and alternative music; frequently serving as a mid-sized stop for touring bands.
