O2 Institute2 Birmingham is a mid-sized music venue located in Digbeth, Birmingham. Originally opening as a theatre in 1908, it underwent several transformations including periods as a cinema and bingo hall before becoming a dedicated music venue. Part of the Academy Music Group, it’s known for hosting both established and emerging artists across various genres – particularly rock, indie, and alternative music. The venue has a capacity of approximately 850 people and retains some of its original architectural features contributing to its intimate atmosphere.
