Grand Junction, located in Archway, London, is a multi-arts venue housed within a former railway goods yard. Originally part of the North London Railway, the site was repurposed in the 1980s to provide studio spaces for artists. Over time it evolved into a performance space hosting a diverse programme of music, theatre, dance, and visual arts events. The venue is characterized by its raw industrial aesthetic – retaining much of its original railway infrastructure – alongside modern performance facilities. It’s known for supporting emerging artists alongside established names and fostering cross-disciplinary collaborations. The building’s history contributes to its unique atmosphere as a cultural hub within the local community.
