The Somerville Armory is a historic building originally constructed in 1908 as a National Guard armory. It served military functions until the late 20th century. In recent years, it has been repurposed as a multi-use performance and event space. Following extensive renovations completed in 2023, the Armory now hosts a variety of events including concerts, theatrical productions, community gatherings, and sporting activities. The building retains much of its original architectural character – including a large drill hall – while offering modern amenities for performers and audiences. It is owned by the City of Somerville and managed by Bowery Presents.
