Younge is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer known for his work blending jazz, soul, funk, and cinematic orchestral arrangements. His music often incorporates elements of library music and vintage soundtracks, creating a distinctive retro-futuristic sound. He frequently explores themes of Blaxploitation film scores and Black American musical history within his compositions. Younge has collaborated with artists like Ghostface Killah, Bilal, and J Dilla, and is also recognized for his work with the Venice Dawn project alongside Ali Shaheed Muhammad.

The Agora Theater & Ballroom has a long history as a prominent entertainment venue in Cleveland. Originally opening as a cinema in 1913, it transitioned into a rock and roll venue during the 1960s hosting numerous iconic musicians including The Beatles in 1964 – one of their first US concerts. Throughout its existence it has undergone several renovations and changes in ownership. The building features both a large ballroom space capable of holding over 2000 people and a smaller theater space.
