Scene Nationale de Mâcon – Bourgogne – Franche-Comté is a multi-disciplinary arts venue with a history rooted in the French national network of Scènes Nationales. Established in 1997, it functions as a regional center for performing arts, hosting a diverse program encompassing theatre, dance, music, cinema and visual arts. The venue itself occupies a renovated space within the historic Plage Bleue complex, originally built for industrial purposes and later adapted for cultural use. It plays an important role in supporting artistic creation and making culture accessible to a broad audience within the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region and beyond. The institution receives support from the French Ministry of Culture and local authorities.
