СОЮЗ-1 is a Russian musical act known for their distinctive blend of post-punk, new wave, and electronic music, often incorporating elements of coldwave and darkwave. Their sound features prominent basslines, atmospheric synthesizers, and introspective lyrical themes delivered in Russian. The group gained recognition in the early 2020s for their independently released tracks and subsequent rise in popularity within the post-punk revival scene.

The concert is scheduled to take place at Dolní Vítkovice, a significant industrial complex located in Ostrava, Czechia. Historically a major iron and steel works founded in 1872, Dolní Vítkovice played a crucial role in the industrial development of the region. Production ceased in 1998, and since then, the site has undergone extensive revitalization.

Today, Dolní Vítkovice functions as a unique cultural and conference centre. Its preserved industrial architecture – including blast furnace halls, gas tanks, and ironworks buildings – provides a dramatic backdrop for events. The complex is listed as a National Cultural Monument and actively promotes industrial tourism alongside hosting concerts and other cultural activities.
