Sharp Marbles (real name Alex Allred) is a British electronic musician and producer known for his intricately layered, sample-based compositions. Emerging in the mid-2010s via releases on labels like Houndstooth and Pictures of Nothing, Marbles quickly garnered attention for a sound blending elements of IDM, ambient techno, and deconstructed club music.

His debut album, *Joyful Accidents* (2016), established his signature style – glitchy rhythms, warped textures, and a melancholic emotional core. Subsequent releases, including *Galaxies Approaching* (2019) and *Panorama* (2023), demonstrate a continued exploration of sonic detail and atmospheric depth.

Marbles' work frequently incorporates found sounds and manipulated field recordings, creating a uniquely tactile listening experience.
